This VideoGen Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") regulates the collection and processing of Personal Data (defined below) obtained from you during your interaction with the VideoGen mobile application ("VideoGen", the "app", or the "application"). This includes activities such as downloading, installing, or accessing the application (collectively referred to as "Use").
We provide this document to clarify our methodologies for gathering, utilizing, and sharing the Personal Data of VideoGen users ("users", "you", or "your"). It also outlines your potential rights and choices regarding your information. By "Personal Data," we refer to (i) information linked to an identified or identifiable individual, and (ii) data protected under relevant data protection statutes.

1. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA AND COLLECTION METHODS
We acquire Personal Data through the following channels:
• Direct Interaction: Information you submit to us intentionally, such as text prompts, uploaded media, and support inquiries.
• Automated Technologies: Data gathered automatically during your Use of VideoGen, such as IP addresses, crash logs, and usage analytics via integrated SDKs.
• External Entities: Information from third-party partners, AI model vendors, and service providers.
2. DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY USERS
Depending on the specific functionalities you engage with in VideoGen, you may provide Personal Data directly to us:
• Media Content (Photos/Videos): Upon granting permission to access your camera or local media library, we process the specific files you choose to upload to VideoGen to facilitate the application's AI features.
• Text Prompts: We collect the text descriptions you enter to guide the AI generation process.
• Gender Identification: For specific features like Magic Avatars, we may request a gender selection (Female, Male, or Other). This data is utilized exclusively to refine the AI generation process.
• Communication Records: If you reach out to us for support, we collect copies of your correspondence and contact info (such as email or name) to address your inquiries.
3. SPECIFIC DISCLOSURE: FACE DATA AND BIOMETRIC INFORMATION
To provide core AI video and image generation features (such as facial animation, style transfer, or digital avatars), VideoGen analyzes the visual content you upload.
• What Face Data we collect: Our application utilizes specialized AI algorithms to detect facial landmarks (e.g., the position of eyes, nose, and mouth) and facial mesh geometry from your uploaded photos or videos.
• Purpose of Collection and Use: We use Face Data strictly and exclusively to map facial expressions, movements, or features onto the AI-generated output. This ensures the generated video or image maintains the user's intended visual characteristics. We do not use Face Data to identify, authenticate, or verify the identity of any individual.
• Storage and Retention: * Face Data (Facial Mesh/Landmarks): This technical data is processed in real-time or near real-time. We do not store Face Data on our permanent servers. All facial technical data is purged from our temporary processing cache immediately after the AI generation is completed (and in no event longer than 24 hours).
￮ Original Media: Your original uploaded photos/videos are stored temporarily to facilitate the generation process and are deleted from our servers within 30 days of your last interaction with the file.
• Third-Party Sharing of Face Data: To perform complex AI computations, your media (which may contain facial features) is transmitted to our trusted third-party AI service providers (see Section 6). We ensure these partners provide equal protection of your Face Data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing the generation service.
4. DATA COLLECTED THROUGH AUTOMATED MEANS
During your Use of VideoGen, we or our authorized third-party partners (such as Google Firebase) may automatically gather certain metrics:
• Device Characteristics: Unique device IDs (IDFA/IDFV), IP addresses, OS versions, mobile network data, and language settings.
• Usage Patterns: Insights into session frequency, accessed features, and engagement levels.
• Crash and Performance Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect logs about app performance and crashes to improve stability.
• Subscription Details: Records of purchase status and duration via Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not have access to your full credit card credentials.
5. OBJECTIVES AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING
We utilize your Personal Data for the following objectives:
• Service Provision: To deliver AI Video and Image Generation based on your explicit consent.
• App Stability and Optimization: To monitor crashes and improve the user experience using analytics tools.
• Contractual Enforcement: To uphold our Terms of Use and defend our legal rights.
• Legal Compliance: For auditing and fraud prevention as required by law.
6. RECIPIENTS OF DATA: THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES & SDKS
VideoGen integrates advanced third-party AI models and infrastructure tools to provide high-fidelity services.
• AI Service Providers: We utilize API interfaces from partners including, but not limited to, Google (Veo), Wan, Seedance, Vidu, and Hailo. These providers process media for the sole purpose of AI generation and do not use your data for training their independent models.
• Infrastructure and Analytics (Firebase): We use Google Firebase for cloud infrastructure, analytics, and crash reporting. Firebase may process data such as device identifiers and usage data according to its own privacy standards.

• Disclosure and Consent: Before any personal data (such as photos or text prompts) is transmitted to third-party AI services, VideoGen will obtain your explicit permission via an in-app consent mechanism.
7. TRACKING MECHANISMS AND THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
We utilize third-party SDKs to track usage trends and measure ad performance. These tools help us understand user acquisition and feature popularity.

VideoGen is not marketed to or intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect data from children. If you are under 13, please do not provide any personal info to the App.
